Significant FttH Market Penetration in 20 Countries, Strong Growth in US

The number of economies where fiber to the home has established a significant and growing market presence has nearly doubled over the past 18 months, according to an updated global ranking issued yesterday by the FTTH Councils of Asia‐Pacific, Europe and North America.

Measured by market penetration, South Korea (44%), Hong Kong (28%), Japan (27%) and Taiwan (12%) are still the front runners, followed by Sweden (9.5%), Norway (9%), Slovenia (7.5%) and the U.S (5%).
