INTUG Meeting with EC and GSMA

INTUG's position on the forthcoming review of the European Regulatory Framework and the recent decisions on the Telecom Single Market involving Roaming and Network Neutrality and the Open Internet will be on the agenda of the next INTUG meeting, being held on 26 November 2015 in the Netherlands.

Digital Single Market
At the meeting, INTUG will present its position on the Digital/Telecom Single Market plans from the European Commission. We invited some special guests for a discussion afterward.

The Digital Agenda is managed by the European Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content & Technology (DG Connect). There will be a representative from the DG to discuss the issues that are important to users in the business market.

Soft SIMs
In regards to the Internet of Things, and more specifically SIM equipped devices, INTUG’s view is that companies should be able to change their mobile operator without having to swap SIM cards in the devices. We are eager to discuss this topic with the GSMA, which unites almost 800 of the world’s mobile operators.
