Meetings

INTUG holds two general meetings a year, in which members and guests hear presentations from the host country and from other industry experts and share updates on regulatory and service developments in their own countries.

In 2009, the meetings were held in Brussels (May) and Paris (December).

Public Presentations

Document submissions

INTUG submits responses to international consultations on key issues and voluntary papers to international conferences. During 2009, these included:

  • EU submissions on Framework Review, Roaming, NGA, Termination Rates
  • ERG Work programme and NGA Charging principles
  • APECTel reports for meetings in Singapore and Mexico City

Correspondence

INTUG and its members write regularly to Government Departments in many countries, and to politicians and the media as well, presenting the views of business users of telecommunications and ensuring their voice is heard.

INTUG meets frequently with regulatory officials and engages in telephone and email contacts on a regular basis.
