Teresa Corbin represented INTUG at the 54th APECTEL meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, held in Japan, 31 Oct-4 Nov 2016. How to support free flow of data, next generation broadcasting, CA (conformity assessments) and MRA (mutual recognition agreements), were all on the workshop agenda.

INTUG Participates at OECD CISP and Responds to CISP-55

In addition to taking part in the recent meeting for the OECD’s Communication Infrastructures and Services Policy (CISP), INTUG has provided comments on the CISP-55 programme.

INTUG Discusses IoT and Digital Convergence at OECD in Paris

At the regular meeting of OECD’s Communications Working Party in Paris (30 Nov. – 1 Dec.), Nick White, INTUG Executive Vice President, contributed to the debate on two topics for the upcoming OECD 2016 Ministerial Meeting agenda- the Internet of Things and Digital Convergence.

INTUG Makes Statement about IoT to BEREC

“Business users globally are recognizing the rapidly increasing opportunities presented by the so-called Internet of Things (IoT), especially in industries suitable for “connected things”, said INTUG in a statement to BEREC following the 3rd BEREC Stakeholder Forum, held in Brussels, Belgium on 15 October 2015.

INTUG Comments on OECD CISP Decision List

INTUG’s EVP Nick White participated in the biannual OECD CISP meeting in Paris last December. After the Decision Items were published, INTUG commented on two of them, being the Internet of Things and International Mobile Roaming.
