Chair

Danielle Jacobs was appointed Chairman in May 2011; before that she was INTUG’s Vice President Europe. She is also General Manager of BELTUG, the Belgian user group representing the Belgian business users of communications services. Danielle is married with 2 children.

 

 

Executive Vice President

Nick White is Executive Vice President of INTUG. Nick has worked in IT all his career, mostly in telecommunications. He worked for Unilever, Midland Bank and Reuters. Nick is an Oxford mathematics graduate, a British Computer Society member, a Chartered Engineer, a local preacher and is married with 5 children.

 

 

Board Members

Muhamad Jumadi is Secretary General of IDTUG (the Indonesian Telecommunications Users Group). He also served as a lecturer at STMIK Swadharma, Jakarta and Sekolah Tinggi INTENS, Bandung. Muhamad graduated in Informatic Engineering at The Adityawarman Institute of Technology (now known as The University Kebangsaan), Bandung, and is a post graduate in Master of Management (financial management) from STIE-IPWIJA, Jakarta.

 

Teresa Corbin is a recognized expert in Australia on consumer policy and communications regulation. She is currently CEO of Australia’s peak communications consumer organization, ACCAN (Australian Communications Consumer Action Network), which she co-founded in 2009. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Linguistics and she is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

 

Petra Claessen is experienced in building bridges between all kinds of people and organisations, keeping in mind the goal they want to achieve. It’s her passion to bring people, organisations, governmental departments and universities together. The scope of view is to work together in co-creation and with a synergy attitude. This leads to the growth of associations and companies in which Petra is and was working for. At this moment Petra is CEO of the association for large users in ICT and telecoms, BTG. Besides this role she is also CEO of the service organisation of BTG, called Telegrootgebruik (TGG). Petra participates in several boards. She is board member at universities, charity organisations and chair of a validation board for sales. Petra was educated at the University of Utrecht (Dutch Law) and she completed several courses on marketing, sales and human resources.

 

Craig Young is Chief Executive of the member-based Telecommunications Association of NZ (TUANZ), which educates and advocates for the improvement of communication services across the country, representing the views and needs of people and businesses that rely on communications technology every day. Craig has experience leading multilateral engagements with industry stakeholders, and providing leadership in several industry sectors including rural broadband. He has also been heavily involved with commercial and regulatory efforts.

 

Leonard Pera leads a Digital Marketing company and has worked for 15 years in the ICT industry, leading commercial teams to success in all multiple technologies, from cloud computing, to voice and data services. He has been President of the International Commission of the Spanish telecommunications Association, AUTELSI since February 2005, and is a member of recognised expertise of the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Industry and Telecommunications (CATSI). He holds several degrees in business and in technology.
